Mechanical Dredging Four-rope Grab Bucke
Grab is widely used to transport, assemble, load and unload incompact goods in mine, port, factory, workshop, warehouses, and goods yard, etc. Grab's open direction is divided into parallel and vertical with main beam and the grab can be double or four wire rope, mechanical or electric hydraulic type according to different work duty and materials.
Crane Grab can be classified into shell shape grab and orange petal shape grab. The former consists of two complete buckets, the latter is made up of three or more petals
Mechanical grab: mechanical grab has no retractable structure, and is usually driven by ropes or connecting rod force. According to operating characteristics, it can be divided into single rope grab and twin rope grab which is in most common.
Single-grab: support rope and open-closed rope are the same one. Through special lock catch device, wire rope can take turns to play the role of supporting, opening and closing. The coiler mechanism of single coiler is simple, but production efficiency is low, so it is not often used if a factory has a large capacity of loading and unloading.
Double-rope grab: there are supporting rope and open-closed rope which are respectively around the coiling block of supporting mechanism and opening/closing mechanism. It has such features: reliable work, simple operation, high production efficiency and wide application. It will be four-rope grab after adopting two groups of double ropes, and it has the same working course as double-rope grab.
According to bulk density of materials, grabs can be classified into light, medium-size and heavy ones. On the basis of number of jaw plates, it also includes single-jaw grab and double-jaw grab which is used in most popular. Multi-jaw grab should be adopted for lump ore, scrap iron and steel scrap, because it has such features as multi-grabs and sharp cut, and it is easy to plug into material pile. This can get a easy grab. There is another shear type grab imitating scissors structure. Its grabbing force gradually increases with opening and closing of jaw plates; at last, the force reaches the max. The opening and its bucket mouth are bigger than ordinary grabs, which improve grabbing capacity and is easy to clean stock ground and cabin. But grabbing effect is poorer for bulk materials because its initial grabbing force is small.
Hydraulic grab belongs to hydraulic structure products. Welding is the most important productive process, and welding quality influences structural strength directly and its service time. In addition, hydraulic ram is also the key driven part. Hydraulic grab belongs to equipment accessories of special industry, and needs special equipment, in order to improve efficiency and quality of working. For example, CNC plasma cutting machine, groove edge milling machine, roll machine, positioner, boring machine and hydraulic test bench etc.
